This is a Hawk Washington Mint 1949 Mercury Convertible #10701 Die-Cast Model Kit. It is a 1:24 scale model of a 1949 Mercury Convertible. The kit includes all the necessary parts to assemble the model and comes in an unopened box. The brand is Hawk/J. Lloyd and the series is Washington Mint Ultra Metal. The model is made of diecast material and was manufactured in 2006. It is suitable for ages 12-16 years and is a great addition to any collection. Full Disclosure: the outer plastic sealing material does have two slits in it, (I think it was purposely sliced to insert the “Help Hospitilized Veterans” sticker on the box. There is a piece of tape securing where the two slices meet, but the box has never been opened as the sealed plastic is very much still in tact. Please see the photos..
