Cream cloth covered boards with whimsical black and gray illustration onfront board panel, black lettering onspine. Upper external page edges are pink tinted. Damp staining on board panels and spine,more so along lower half of fore-edges. Upper-most edges of boards and spine are sunned. Light crimpingalongupper and lower edges at head and tail of boardspine. Damp stains on end papers andlingeringon a couple of pages at the front and back. Previous owners inscription on FFEP. External side and lower page edges are age-toned as are text pages to a lesser degree. Else book is internally clean. Text block is sound.

Dust jacket is soiled and lightly sunned overall. Front flap is separated from front jacket panel. Back fore-edge and spine folds are creased and rubbed through in several places. Chipping of up to 3/8" across head of jacket spine and adjacent upper edges of front and back panels. Loss of 1 1/4" by up to 1" at lower right corner of back jacket panel; front corner at tail of jacket spine has loss of 5/8" by 1/2". Lower edge at tail of jacket spine is chopped and with several closed tears of up to 3/8". Not price clipped. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition description.
