Les envoyés de toutes les sections de la République vinrent sidentifier avec les représentans du souverain et offrirent à lhumanité le spectacle touchant dune nombreuse famille se consolant des malheurs inséparables dune grande révolution, au milieu des épanchemens de lamitié, au milieu des étreintes de la fraternité"...

"Il nest plus temps de nous livrer à de vaines discussions, il faut agir ; il faut que laristocratie devienne entre nos mains, linstrument de sa propre destruction".
