This is a wooden kokeshi doll made from tea tree wood, depicting a woman picking tea leaves, which originated in Uji during the late Edo period (approximately 200 years ago). Unfortunately, it has since been forgotten. Efforts have been made since 2011 to revive this traditional craft.
- Due to the use of natural tea tree wood, there may be slight variations in each piece.
